The countdown is on to Repco Rev Up Whangarei 2020!

This year, on the 18th April it’s our 4th year and it’s going to be better than ever, we will have more vehicles on display plus Bikes & Trikes (No Gang Patches permitted), more entertainment and fabulous prizes.

 

Open to the public, spectators' entry is free however we will have gold coin donation buckets floating around the event, all proceeds going direct to Kind Hands Respite Car Cottage.

 

(Entrants assemble from 7:00 AM)

 

Registrations will open in November, make sure you register as soon as possible before space runs out. Entry limited to 300 vehicles. Entry packs will be sent out early April 2020.

 

All net proceeds this year go to our charity Kind hands who have set up a purpose-built cottage, offering respite care for children who are aged under 6 years, have a disability and/or are medically fragile and/or are technology dependent. Although the facility is located in Whangarei, it is intended to benefit all children in the above categories throughout Northland is the only such facility offering respite care to these children

Tickets give entrants Full Access to the Event Registration Pack.

 

All vehicle and motorcycle registrations will be sent their Entry Paks and Event detail information out by courier, a fee of $10 is INCLUDED in your payment automatically. The reason for doing this is to speed up the entry of vehicles and bikes on the morning of the event.

 

All vehicles must have a current registration and a current warrant of fitness.

 

All driver entrants must hold a NZ drivers’ licence and must comply with all NZ Driver Licence rules in all facets of the event. Unregistered vehicles must be trailered to the event.

 

Rock n Roll Pin up Girl Entry $10

Limited to 20 entries, with some great prizes up for grabs. Plus a Goodie bag for each entry.
So get out the “Glad rags”, get dolled up and show us your best side on the stage in your Rock n Roll outfit. Be at the stage by 12.00pm

 

Rev UP Charity Dine & Dance: $80.00

The Dine & Dance will be held at Forum North Rust Ave Whangarei. Doors open 6.30 with Dinner served 7.00pm, Charity Auction

Entertainment by the Rock a billy band Boom Boom Deluxe

 

Cars, Pickups & Caravans Entry: $20.00

(Note: You only need to enter your vehicle, your passengers are free) The event is for Hot Rods, Custom Built vehicles, Muscle Cars, Performance Cars and Cool Classic Cars of special interest. Any vehicles outside of this criteria can be emailed through to info@revupwhangarei.co.nz along with a photo for approval by the show committee.

Motorbikes & Trike Entry: $20.00

(Note: You only need to enter your Bike/Trike, your passengers are free) We are seeking “cool rides” and classic bikes rather than the standard street bike. Any bike/trike outside this criteria can be emailed through to info@revupwhangarei.co.nz along with a photo for approval by the show committee.

Vehicle Themed Wearable Art Entry: $10.00

Limited to first 20 entrants. Amazing prizes to be won.  Plus goodie bag for your entry.  Your outfit is to have a vehicle related theme to it. Let your imagination run wild! Competitors to be on the stage at 10:00 am.

 

Pimp Up Your Push Bike Entry: $5.00

Limited to first 20 entrants. Awesome Prizes to be won. Plus goodie bag for your entry. How pimped can you get your bike? Pretty much anything goes but it should be ridable still.

 

 

Saturday Afternoon/Evening

The fun will continue. We are still working on the finer details however we hope to host Dinner & Dance at a suitable venue where you can also park your car and enjoy a meal and cool music. Details to come soon.
